Before You Book
How do I book a tattoo?
New clients start with the tattoo request form — it routes you to the right artist, and they take it from there: consult, deposit, date.
Do you take walk-ins?
We work primarily by appointment. Walk-ins are by chance — if an artist has an opening, we'll do our best to fit you in. The request form is the most reliable way to get on the books.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 or older with valid government-issued photo ID. Oregon does not allow tattooing of minors, even with parental consent.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on size, placement, detail, and the artist. After you submit a request, your artist will discuss pricing at your consult. A deposit is typically required to book and goes toward the cost of your tattoo.
Does it hurt?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Most clients describe it as manageable discomfort — some spots (ribs, hands, feet, neck) are more sensitive than others (outer arm, thigh, calf). Your artist will work with you on breaks and pacing.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Sleep well, eat a solid meal beforehand, and stay hydrated. Skip alcohol for 24 hours before your session — it thins the blood. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the placement area.
